BALOCHISTAN: Six women injured in acid attack

QUETTA: Six women were injured in an acid attack, as a result of family dispute in Pishin district of Balochistan, Pakistan’s leading English daily, Dawn reported on Wednesday.

According to the detail four men sprayed acid on women insideĀ  the house but fortunately the faces of the affected women were saved in the attack.

Deputy Commissioner Pishin Bashir Bazai told that the attackers escaped unhurt after launching the attack.
“There were no men inside the house when the culprits targeted women” said Bazai.

Bazai said that the women were discharged from hospital after being given first aid treatment since their condition was not serious.

Levies personnel conducted raids in different parts of Pishin and Killa Abdullah but no arrest was made till the filing of this report.
