ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly protested against India over non-provision of visa to the pilgrims who wanted to take part in death anniversary of Hazrat Moin-uddin-Chishti in Ajmer district.
Indian Deputy High Commissioner in Pakistan has been called in foreign office Islamabad where foreign office has strongly protested over not issuance of visa to 500 Pakistani pilgrims.
The Pakistan foreign office said not giving visas to Pakistani pilgrims are against the 1974 pact between the two countries.
Yesterday, Indian High Commission in Pakistan has refused to grant visas to 500 Pakistani Pilgrims who wanted to take part in Hazrat Moin-uddin Chishti death anniversary in India.
It is fourth time in a year that India has refused visas to the Pakistani pilgrims.
