ISLAMABAD: A review meeting for Pakistan-China trade corridor and implementation on energy related projects between the two countries working group is underway in Islamabad.
The meeting has been reviewing and considering progress made so far on the projects.
On the occasion, Minister for Water and Power Khwaja Asif showed confidence on Chinese assistance and said Pakistan will overcome energy crisis with the help of China.
Khwaja Asif said his government will invite Chinese investors to install coal-based power plants in Pakistan. He assured that all facilities will be provided to Chinese companies in the country.
Informing the meeting, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said as many as three billion people will be benefited with Pakistan-China economic corridor.
Vice President of Chinese National Energy Administration said China will make investment of six billion dollars in energy sector of Pakistan.
He said Pak-China friendship is unprecedented and it will continue to gain strength in times to come.
