LONDON: Outgoing Pakistani High Commissioner in UK and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) stalwart Wajid Shamsul Hassan has said that he would write a book on life of Benazir Bhutto and would disclose the sensational revelations about the assassinated former prime minister of Pakistan.
Wajid Shamsul Hassan said that he has plans to write books after the retirement and the book on the life of Benazir Bhutto (BB) is also included in those books.
“I was close to BB so it is my duty to write on her life”, he said.
During an interview to private TV channel, Hassan said that incumbent Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif showed tolerance and directed me to continue work on post of high commissioner.
Hassan said that during the process of dialogues between BB and Musharraf and other parties and some time I have written the minutes of the meetings, so I would disclose many things.
He said that over six years period of service in UK had been a matter of tremendous honour and privilege for him and the better relationship between UK and has been established.
Pakistan’s former prime minister and top leader of PPP, Benazir Bhutto was killed on 27 Decemnber 2007 while leaving a campaign rally for the PPP at Liaquat National Bagh in the run-up to the January 2008 parliamentary elections.
