KARACHI: Jazal Sher, a student from Bahauddin Zakariya University of Multan, has bagged top position and became gold medalist in ‘All Pakistan Gold Medal Urdu Extempore Speech Competition’ organised by Students’ Council of Sir Syed Government Girls College.
Students’ Council of Sir Syed Government Girls College have accomplished it’s one of the biggest aim by organising an “All Pakistan Gold Medal Urdu Debate”, a historical event held on March 8, 2014.
Best debaters from all over Pakistan have made this event a successful one just by the arrival on our invitation. Initial round took place in morning in which 15 teams from different provinces embattled the war of words with each other & reached the final round.
Judging panel was comprising of Mr. Rizwan Zaidi, Mr. Abid Ali Omang and Mrs. Shumaila Samad.
Winners (Initial Round):
1st Position: Nadim-ur-Rashid (Jamiat-ur-Rashidiya)
2nd Position: Muhammad Habib Ferozi (Karachi University)
3rd Position: Ahsan Wasim (Pakistan Institute of Quality)
4th Position: Wajahat Hussain (Agha Khan College)
Team Trophy: M. Khizer Khan & M. Mazhar Khan (Cadet College Sanghar).
Final Round:
Final round took place in evening at 6:00 pm which is an “All Pakistan Gold Medal Urdu Extempore Speech Competition”, 10 individual debaters got the honor to raise the toast in finale.
Judges of final round are one of the most intellectual personalities like Mr. Haroon-ur-Rasheed, Mr. Khalilullah Farooqi & Mr. Saleem Mughal.
Winner:
The competition was a tough one but the one should’ve be the winner so the Gold Medal goes to “Mr. Jazal Sher” from “Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan”.
Final round follows a “Students’ Mega Evening” in which Sir Syed Govt. Girls College tried to enhance the culture & unity of Pakistan.
Principal Farhat Azeem congratulated the President Students’ Council of Sir Syed Government Girls College Aiman Batool Jafri and her team for organising a successful and prestigious speech event.
Azeem said that the competition finally reached into a successful phase with significant efforts of students. She distributed prizes and certificates amongst the participants of the programme.
