ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) on Tuesday has submitted strong reaction over Iranian Interior Minister’s statement for army invasion in Pakistani territory if demands are not fulfilled.
The Pakistani FO spokesperson has stated that there no information or evidences found regarding the presence of Iranian guards in the country.
The spokesperson expressed deep concerns over Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli’s statement;Â clarified that Pakistan is taking concrete steps against terrorism and Iran will not allow to send their forces for any action within Pakistani boundaries.
Iran threatens military invasion in Pakistan
Earlier on February 17, Iran’s interior minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli warned Pakistan that if it does not take action to recover Iranian border guards, their military forces will enter the Pakistani territory.
The Pakistan’s FO said that expectations could not be avoided for the presence of abductors and kidnapped Iranian border forces’ officials inside the Iran.
She added that a high-level meeting will be held tomorrow in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan province, between senior officials of Pakistan and Iran.
Pakistan’s paramilitary forces, Frontier Corps (FC) officials have completed a search operation in the border areas connecting with Iran and found no evidences of the presence of Iranian border guards.
Iranian Interior Minister should accept his incompetency on failing to recover security officials in their country, she said.
It should be mentioned, Iranian authorities had claimed that their five missing border security guards are abducted by some criminals from Pakistan on February 6.
