Peshawer: During disconnection and Recovery Campaign through out KPK, Pakistan Electric Supply Corporation (PESCO) Khyber Division team disconnected power supply of provincial information minister’s constituency over non payment of Rs 2 crore 89 lacs and 36 thousands.
The PESCO disconnected power supply of Budh Bair and Mariyam Zai which was the constituencies of Shah Farman, the provincial minister for information.
According to the PESCO sources, 590 connections has been cut off as 90 percent line losses found in both the areas and they have to pay around more than Rs 2 crore to the PESCO.
On the other side, Shah Farman has alleged that PESCO was behind this line losses.
It is to be mentioned here that provincial minister Shah Farman along with a police party headed by capital city police officer (CCPO) took members of the media to the house of PESCO chief Brig (retd) Tariq Sadozai where electricity was being allegedly supplied through illegal connection to his official residence.
