NOSHEHRA: Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) on Saturday has disconnected the electricity in the Chiragh area of Noshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
The area stated to be belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) information minister of (KPK) Shah Farman from where he won the election in the general elections.
Abid Sher Ali, minister of state for Water and Power has alleged yesterday that PTI provincial minister involved in power theft.
He also said that Farman Shah announced in his constituency not to pay the electricity bill which caused severe damage to the WAPDA.
He was of the view that there were Rs 1.35 billion line losses in Shah Farman constituency.
Abid Sher Ali, last week also had alleged KPK government of power theft which was denied by KPK government.
This action seems to be more tension between the PML-N and PTI.
