ABU DHABI: Pakistan Skipper Misbah ul Haq has broken Muhammad Yousuf’s runs record in 5th One-Day International against Sri Lanka at Abu Dhabi in a calendar year.
Misbah ul Haq has scored a total of 1,373 runs in 2013 record beating former Skipper Muhammad Yousuf’s 1,362 runs in one year.
Misbah has also made 15 half-centuries record in a calendar year leaving even cricket genius Sachin Tendulkar behind.
In the list of Pakistani Top scorers, Misbah is now on the second position after Saeed Anawr.
Batting legend Saeed Anwar had scored 1,595 runs in 36 matches in 1996.
