LAHORE: After arrest of an Al Qaeeda member from the hostel, police is likely to make a clean up operation at the University of Punjab hostel.
“The university administration has compiled a list of the persons living in the hostel illegally,” the sources told the The News Tribe correspondent from Lahore, the capital city of the eastern province of Punjab.
Considered to be one of the biggest public universities of the country, PU houses hundreds of hundreds students at the hostels.
The students on the other hand express concern over the action by the PU administration saying some students could be victimized due to their links with a particular student organization.
The above mentioned student organization has a large number of supporters in the campus even some believe that hostel buildings are in its control.
