Cambridge: Sacked Balochistan chief minister Aslam Raisani has said that governments are not dismissed because of disturbing law-and-order situation, referring to the dismissal of his provincial government following deadly attacks on Shiites in Quetta.
While talking to a private Pakistan news channel Geo, he said the decision was not fair, asking why similar steps had not been taken in other provinces where security was no different from Balochistan.
Raisani’s government was dismissed after Prime Minister Raj Pervez Ashraf announced late Sunday that governor’s rule was imposed in the provinces under which the executive powers were shifted to Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi.
The former CM said that he would soon return to Pakistan and decide what he should in future.
