Peshawar:The political administration has conveyed its reservations over the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) proposed Waziristan rally to the FATA secretariat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Masud Kausar and Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
The political administration informed the authorities concerned of its concerns regarding the rally and law and order situation.
It said that the rally would bring bad name to Pakistan if any untoward incident occurred in the restive tribal region.
The administration said that law and order situation was not favorable for the PTI rally. Imran Khan has plans to take out a rally from Islamabad to Waziristan next month against the US drone strikes and he had invited international journalists and human rights activists.
Analysts say the PTI would not be allowed to take out the rally over security concerns as country’s armed forces have been battling a home grown insurgency in the area .
