Islamabad: Pakistan’s premier weapon development complex has been working on another Pakistan-model drone plane or Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) being used to identify and attack unreachable spots.
Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamrah is working on UAV that would be used for the national security purposes, a local media outlet reported.
PAC is the leading technology outfit of Pakistan Air Force working on different fighter as well as training planes.
PAC is working Pakistan-model drone in collaboration with an Italian firm. The UAV will include effective Guidance and Control System and its overall weight would be around 500 kilogram. The plane will use an engine of 85 horsepower.
PAC has also been working on development of JF-17 Thunder while it has already developed JF-17 fighter planes being used in Pakistan Air Force.
The complex develops aeronautical related products comprising K-8 Karakoram Aircraft, Mushshak Airkraft, Falco drone planes, Boeing parts and aeronautical engineering products.
