Baku: Mir Jan Jamali, deputy chairman of Senate, has said that Pakistan is ready to provide the necessary military support to Azerbaijan, trend.az reported.
Addressing a press-conference at the Azerbaijani parliament on Wednesday, Jamali said that Pakistan was a nuclear power and it produces military aircraft, tanks and warships. He added that if money was invested, cooperation could be extended.
He said the chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Pakistan was in Baku and would hold a number of meetings during his visit.
“Pakistan has excellent relations with Turkey in military cooperation. These relations can also be established with Azerbaijan,” Jamali said.
