Karachi: TradeKey, a leading online business-to-business marketplace, has been included in the top 50 companies of AllWorld’s Arabia Fast Growth 500 list and it’s also ranked as one of the top 25 fastest growing companies of Pakistan.
AllWorld’s Arabia Fast Growth 500 list is a ranking of the fastest growing young companies in the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Pakistan. The ranking is based on 2008-2010 growth rates of the companies. Contestants of this ranking were required to have at least three years of operating history and a minimum of $500,000 sales in 2010.
The announcement was made by the AllWorld Network in Istanbul at the 2nd Global Summit on Entrepreneurship. The three-day global summit, held under the theme of ‘Entrepreneurship, Values and Development. A Global Agenda’, was attended by over 2,000 successful entrepreneurs from across the world.
Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Pakistan’s Minister for Finance commenting the occasion said that, “The strong performance of Pakistani companies in Arabia500 demonstrates that in spite of the challenges there are strong business and investment opportunities in Pakistan.”
