Karachi: The fourth death anniversary former prime minister and Pakistan People’s Party Chairperson Benazir Bhutto is being observed today (Tuesday).
She was killed at Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi on the 27th of December in 2007 as she left the venue after addressing public meeting. Benazir Bhutto‚ a political leader of high stature was first woman Prime Minister of Islamic world.
The day started with the Quran Khawani at the Mazar of the Shaheed at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
The PPP is organising a big public meeting in Garhi Khuda Bux today to pay tribute to Benazir Bhutto for her life-long struggles for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan.
PPP Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address to the public meeting.
