Karachi: Chief Secretary Sindh Raja Muhammad Abbas has asked the Divisional & Deputy Commissioners to actively monitor and support the 03 days Polio Eradication Campaign starting today December 19, which will continue till December 21.
He also advised Secretary health and other senior officers of the health department to strengthen coordination with respective departments including Education & Divisional and District Administration to ensure 100% success of the recent 03 days Polio Eradication Campaign.
With the specific reference of the recent introductory meeting held on December 17, Chief Secretary noted that Polio virus must be controlled. He added that it should be the responsibility of all concerned to root out the menace of Polio, in the greater national interest.
Chief Secretary desired that effective monitoring and implementation is the fundamental need to successfully complete this task, and no deficiency shall be ignored, to this effect.
He called the report of recent campaign on December 22, from the Secretary Health.
