Islamabad: Senator Raza Rabbaani, head of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security has said that Pakistan had signed eight to nine written and verbal agreements with the United States and Nato.
Speaking to media after the meeting of committee here on Thursday, he said that the committee had sought details from foreign and defence ministries regarding the written agreements in next meeting on December 24. He said that the defence and foreign ministries had no record of verbal agreements.
Rabbani said most of the agreements were signed by the Defence Ministry. He said that the incumbent government had not signed any agreement with the US, Nato and Isaf.
The Senator said that the parliamentary body had also sought record from both the ministries regarding memogate issue on December 21.
