Karachi: At least three rangers personnel were killed and four others injured in a blast in Safoora Goath area of Karachi city of Pakistan, sources said on Friday.
The sources said that the blast, targeting rangers vehicle, occurred at 7:25am on Friday.
They added that the explosive was planted in earth while rangers vehicle was parked near 30 feet away from the blast.
The dead and injured were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
DIG East Akram Naeem said that initial investigation shows that rangers personnel were the target of the blast.
Hospital sources said that the condition of four others personnel was also serious.
