Chittagong: Strong and steady Pakistan cricket team dominated day one as they bowled out Bangladesh for 135 runs on the opening day of the first Test match at Chittagong Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Pakistan’s off-spinner bowlers Saeed Ajmal and Abdur Rehman claimed three wickets each as Bangladesh were bundled out for just 135. Nasir Hossain scored 41 runs.
Pakistani pacers Umar Gul and Aizaz Cheema grabbed 2 wickets each.
Pakistan’s openers Mohammad Hafeez and Tofeeq Umar gave a strong opening stand and both the players’ hits fifties as Pakistan scored 132 runs for no wicket at the end of the day.
