Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that the incumbent government doesn’t seem to complete its tenure.
He was talking to media at airport in Lahore on Thursday. He said that the country was in dire need of transparent elections. He warned that bloodshed was expected on the streets If transparent elections were not held.
Khan said that 45 percent of votes were found fake in last elections, however, he expected free and fare election would be held for the first time in the history of Pakistan under Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
He said that fresh polls should be held after voters lists were completed. He said that interim set up should be put in place before elections.
Replying a query he said that his party was still not allowed by the government to hold rally in Karachi on December 25.
He said all efforts would be made to hold rally in Karachi.
