Islamabad: The Youm-e-Ashur was peacefully observed in Pakistan and no big incident reported from any part of the country. The Ashura processions were taken out in different cities of Pakistan to mark the day.
According to The News Tribe correspondent in Karachi on Tuesday, the main procession was emerged from Nishtar Park at 9am local time and many small and medium processions joined it from the three different entry points.

Correspondent in Lahore said that the main procession of the city was on its way after emerging from Nisar Haveli in the Walled City on Monday night. The procession will culminate at the Karbala Gamay Shah in evening on Tuesday.
