Kohat: At least nine militants including a Commander of banned outfit Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed and several others injured in an operation in Sher Zai area of Central Kurram Agency of Pakistan tribal region.
Sources said on Monday, security forces used heavy weapons during the operation in the area and killed nine more militants including TTP’s commander Abdul Raheem.
Pakistani security forces have been battling in the region since 2008 against anti sate actors fighting under the banner of TTP.
