Islamabad: A fire broke in a multi-storey building of a private bank in Blue Area of Pakistani capital Islamabad on Thursday morning.
However, no casualty was reported in the incident, rescue sources said.
According to fire station sources the fire broke out on the eighth floor of United Bank of Pakistan’s building.
“Firefighters are trying to contain and put out the fire,” the fire Brigade sources said.
It was not clear how many offices were affected by the fire as the extent of the damage was not immediately known, they added.
How the fire started was also not clear yet, he said.
