Karachi: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has directed to establish check posts at the border of Sindh and Balochistan and prevention of diesel and weapons’ smuggling must be ensured.
He expressed these views while talking to media after two different meetings. In the first meeting Rehman Malik met with Director Coast Guard and Director FIA, while the second meeting held with the delegation of traders’ representative.
He said that terrorist and their movements must be strictly vigilant.
The businessmen blasted to the Interior Minister, during the meeting, as saying that they were still receiving extortion slips, following which Rehman Malik offered them to hire the services of Frontier Constabulary (FC) for the protection of their markets.
Rehman Malik said that the businessmen had watched the videos of target killers and we would soon bring the videos to the public.
He said that he had written a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan for special courts to get speedy justice.
He said that President had issued Rupees five billion for the peace in Karachi.
