Tripoli: Libyan rebel’s military chief, who was leading the military campaign against Libyan President Mummar Gaddafi, has been killed in a shooting incident, Libyan rebel officials confirmed.
According to Arab TV, Abdel Fattah Younes was killed in a firing incident and his murderer has also been arrested.
It is pertinent to mention here that rebellion campaign in Libya has been going on for several months in which thousands of people have so far been killed.
Rebellion campaign was backed by US-led NATO forces, demanding Gaddafi to step down.
United States President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hilary Clinton has said that Gaddafi has no chance except quitting powers. But Libyan Strong man Muammar Gaddafi is determinant that he would fight till his death instead of accepting orders of leaving his powers.
