London: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has blamed government of Pakistan for hatching conspiracies against national institutions, including the army and the ISI.
The MQM chief on Tuesday said that the government was not only taking anti-democratic steps, but also conspiring against institutions crucial to national security and solidarity such as Pakistan Army and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
He said that weakening national security institutions was equivalent to destabilizing Pakistan. The government was also indulging in political victimisation, particularly of the MQM.
Altaf Hussain said that that MQM always stood by the government in the hour of need, but the party now feels being backstabbed.
