Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has alleged that one of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ministers prepared plan to attack MQM headquarters Nine Zero after meeting with Muhajir Qaumi Movement leader Afaq Ahmed.
In an emergency meeting of MQM’s Rabita (Coordination) Committee late on Sunday alleged that both the leaders also planned to disconnect all the connections of Nine Zero.
Addressing a press conference MQM’s Anees Ahmed Qaimkhani said that it would not be in Pakistan’s interest if MQM were sidelined, and the PPP leadership would be responsible of all damages.
He termed the PPP leaders hypocrisies , saying one the PPP minister said that he called on Afaq Ahmed while another minister said the party has no contact with the MQM-H imprisoned leader.
He warned the PPP leaders including party Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari that any conspiracy against the MQM would be considered conspiracy against Pakistan. He made it clear to the PPP leaders that this was not 92 or 95, but 2011.
Meanwhile, Dr Mirza confirmed that he had met with Afaq Ahmed as a Pakistani. He said he has been in contact with the MQM-H leader in the past and would do so in the future.
Farooq Sattar, Raza Haroon, Aamir Khan, Mustafa Kamal and Mustafa Aziz Abadi were also present On the occasion.
