Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday that army should be deployed in Karachi to restore peace if the government was incompetent to do so.
Talking to media the former prime minister expressed grave concerns over Karachi situation where over 100 people have been killed during the last four days by unidentified terrorists.
He said the elements involved in the target killing were not arrested. ” why the killers are not brought to book if Rehman Malik says he knows the elements” he added.
Nawaz said that the PML-N submitted requisition for National Assembly session where his party would raise issue of Zafar Qureshi and worsening law and order situation in Karachi.
