Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday declared the verdict of Lahore High Court null and void on the applications filed against the LHC’s verdict of declaring Haj quota distribution under the new Haj policy 2011 illegal
The LHC on June 6 in its verdict had issued directions for re-allotment of quota to qualified Haj operators.
A four-member bench of the apex court justice Javed Iqbal was hearing the applications filed by the federal government and private tour operators against the LHC verdict.
