LAHORE: It is still undecided that who (Pakistan or India) will have the crown of hosting the cricket series in 2012 according to new Upcoming Tours Programme of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) chief operating officer Subhan Ahmed said
“In fact, we have to play four series in duration of 2012-2020. But its still unclear that who will host it.”
He said that the PCB raised the above issue before the BCCI officials during the ICC meeting in Hong Kong last month and the BCCI assured them that they would confirm the PCB after getting clearance from Indian government.
Ahmed further said that Pakistan were ready to play on any neutral venue.
He further added “Once the two countries come on track of restore the bilateral series, then other small issues like ignorance in IPL of Pak players will automatically solve.
