Sukker: At least five prisoners were killed and 20 others injured when inmates in Sukkur jail turned violent during a search operation launched by the administration on Tuesday.
Sources said that jail administration launched a search operation in the prison which was violently resisted by the inmates. They said that an FC official was also killed during a clash with the prisoners.
Heavy contingent of police were called in the jail to bring the situation under control.
