Karachi: Pakistan Football Federation kicked off 8th Premier Football League in five cities of the country today.
16 teams, including 12 departments and four clubs will be taking part in the league. The teams are; The Punjab Medical College, Pakistan Army, Navy, Wapda, KRL, PIA, KESC, KPT, PAF, Afghan Club Chaman, Pakistan Electron Company, Baloch Club Noshki, National Bank of Pakistan, Habib Bank, Police and Muslim Club Chamn.
240 matches will be played during the tournament while 70 matches will be played before the month of holy Ramadan.
Every team will play 30 matches and Rs 25000 will be awarded to winners, while winners of the tournament will be given 60, 0000 while runners up will be given 40, 0000
