Islamabad: The Supreme Court on Monday summoned Secretary Defence and Secretary Interior in connection withe the missing person case.
An SC bench headed by Justice Javed Iqbal was hearing the case. Amna Masood Janjua, an activist and one of the applicants, told the court that Masood Janjua and Faisal Faraz were not killed, as the government told SC, instead they had been kept in the custody of secret agencies.On this the court issued notices to secretaries of defence and interior to appear before the quote.
On Wednesday, Additional Attorney General KK Agha had told the court that Masood Januja and Faisal Faraz were killed by al-Qaeda and were not in the custody of agencies as the applicants have been claiming.
