Islamabad: Recently reappointed Additional Inspector General (FIA) Federal Investigation Agency, Zafar Qureshi, has been again terminated from his post late on Monday.
Zafar Qureshi was reappointed as AIG FIA a few days before on the direction of Supreme Court of Pakistan. He was supervising National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL), one of the biggest corruption scams in Pakistan’s history.
Establishment Division on the direction of Prime Minister Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has issued notification in this regard.
However, Zafar Qureshi, while talking to media, said that he has not received any notification yet but media informed him about the development.
