Islamabad: A heavy fire erupted in a godown of an international welfare organisation in sector I-9/3 of federal capital, Islamabad on Friday morning.
According to reports the warehouse was being used by the organisation to store medicines and other relief goods for the flood affectees.
Rescue teams comprising paramedics and fire brigade reached on the spot and started rescue operation. Sources said that goods worth billions of rupees were feared to be gutted in the fire.
