Washington: United States has announced to provide 85 unmanned spy drones to Pakistan, a US military officials said.
The US government would provide 85 small “Raven” spy aircraft to Pakistan, a foreign news agency reported the US military officials as saying.
The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, declined to disclose the cost or model of the non-lethal, short-range aircraft, which are manufactured by the U.S.-based AeroVironment Inc.
But Sources from Pakistan’s Foreign Office said that Pakistan have concern over the time period being given by the US officials but he refused to reveal the time period that is given by the US authorities.
Pakistan has been demanding the US authorities that provide drone technology to Pakistan because Pakistan’s security officials only have reserved rights to target the dens of the militants in the northwest region of Pakistan.
