Islamabad: Relatives of two Pakistanis, out of the three who were killed by Americans on January 27 in Lahore, have agreed to forgive the blood of their loved ones if US releases Dr Aafia Siddiqui.
The mother of Faizan and the brother of Ebad-ur-Rehman said this on Monday evening while talking to a Pakistani TV channel.
Mother of Faizan said that “our crime is being a Pakistani and the killer is American. I just know that an American killed my young son who was innocent”.
Sajjad-ur-Rehman, brother of Ebad-ur-Rehman, said that they were being pressurized to forgive the blood of Ebad after taking some money but they have categorically denied their demands.
He said the government of Pakistan was “not interested in taking action against the killer”. He said not a single official of the federal government had come to them for condolence.
Both the relatives demanded that Chief Justice of Pakistan take suo motu action in the case to bring the criminals before justice.
